UTILITY KNIFE. Overall length 5 3/4". Handle: bubinga wood, solid brass knife-makers' bolts. Blade is 1080 high-carbon steel, highly patterned and bronze-colored on both sides, resulting from the heat treatment process. Both the bronze color and much of the texture can be removed, but I love these textures, and when they come out especially nice, as on this knife, I usually save some or all of it.
